You understand that Canada is a democracy with established procedures for passing new laws, right? It's not some dictatorship (as much as Trudeau would like to pretend it is) where someone can snap their fingers and new laws are passed.

After Elbowgate, no chance. Liberals are novice and don't know how to push bills through. CONs would have sent this bill to Senate by now as they how to push things, but then they makes things tough for most immigrants as well. So, no where to complain. CONs don't like us and Libs don't know how to push bill through. Be at mercy of CIC.

Summer recess is coming , so my point is to have 0 hopes in this bill and pretend it never existed and move on . If a miracle happens , we all prefer to be surprised instead of being disappointed.

Government bills have to go through the due process - I know it sucks when bills so important to us get delayed, but it happens.

Alternatively, feel free to write to NDP / Conservative MPs and Senators to let your opinion known - That's definitely one way to get your thoughts to the right people.
