Is there a minimum course load requirement?

I've been working in Canada on a closed work permit and want to take some time off, I'm thinking I would take a few classes and change my permit to a study permit, is there a minimum course load? I don't need to be able to work during this time.

To be able to work part-time on a study permit as an international student you need to have at least 60% course load.
