Hello,

I also sent an email to my previous organization to issue me a letter of reference. Below is the answer I received from them:

"Hi Rohit,

It will not be feasible for organization to issue a letter of reference to an ex-employee."

Then, I contacted my supervisor over a phone and He is ready to describe my roles and responsibilities but on email.

So, please suggest me , What should be my next step ?

Is it very important to get this letter by supervisor on Affidavit or print of this email will be applicable.

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Best Regards,
Rohit

R u facing similar kind of problem??? if u have any solution for this???
I had this issue with my PNP application and the nomination officer advised me to get a letter from my former supervisor and if I had payslips or my contract with the duties I could use that as well.

I submitted a letter from my former Supervisor and got my nomination a few days later.

In my nomination email they also advised me to submit all the information I gave them to support my work experience in my application for PR when I receive the ITA

Anyone could figure it out how to solve this?

I'm having the same problem here. The company will provide a letter, but without the main duties.

I'm thinking in send this letter, and another explaining the reason to not have the main duties, also send them my contract and a link to Brazilian job description bank.

What do you guys think about it?

Hi All,

Need help. One of my ex employer has refused to provide me a reference letter. I have the following:

1. Alumnus reply from the company stating that neither they nor any employee can provide such a letter
2. Email acknowledgement of my roles and responsibilities from my previous supervisor from his official(company) mail id
3. Service Certificate
4. Offer Letter
5. Last 4 months Payslips
6. IT return
7. Ad given by the company for recruitment of the same position and its role and responsibilities.

Is this fine as a substitute for Reference Letter.

The truth is no one really knows. I am in a position where the first employer I worked for closed down in 2007. I will be providing the following documents but am not sure if they will be accepted by the VO. I genuinely tried to locate my former employer and colleagues but was unable to. The company was a Chartered Accounting firm I worked for the company for 2.5 years. The documents I am providing are:

1) Notarized letter confirming company is closed and stating my duties, time I worked there how much I was paid etc and my position
2) Employment contract
3) Payslips for the 2 years I was there
4) Tax Returns confirming; amount on T4s', my occupation as an 'Accountant'
5) Copies of T4s confirming time I worked there and Gross amounts I was paid
6) Copies of extracts from national public business database confirming company de-registration
7) Copies of extracts from national public database confirming company de-registration for Income Tax and GST purposes
8) Copies from the Institute of Chartered Accountants public database confirming the company is no longer operating as an actively registered Chartered Accounting firm
9) Copies of Google searches and LinkedIn searches showing no result when I enter the name of my former boss
10) Copies of bank statements filtered to show net salary amounts going into my bank account
11) Copies of documentation showing work I performed which was verified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and CPA Ontario prior to obtaining my accounting designations

Hope it helps you.

Note: I am unsure why a 'Smiley' face comes when I type th number '8'. Have tried re-typing and the same thing happens.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any form that needs to be filled and scanned apart from the online forms

Yes rahulpatel

But this is for my employment very long back in 2006. Also I did send them an email in which I explained them my role and responsibilities to be inscribed in a letter head. But that became an impasse and I didn't hear from them. And the entire staff has changed since then. But I do have the valid offer letter explaining my title, date of joining, package etc...
Did producing the valid offer letter worked out...?

Hi Rohit,
It would be helpful if you can give pointers on how you got the reference letters?
Thanks,

Was it on stamp pappers or just a simple letter ?

Is this ur only job? If u have ref. letter from other jobs, providing offer letter, promotion/increment letters, relieving letter, paystub, any certificates relevant to profile shud be sufficient along with LOE explaining why reference letter cud not be obtained adding email/letter from this HR declining your request.
