Is spouse occupation matters?

Hi all,

If anyone had applied to canadian immigration before 27 feb,2008 where her occupation is not mentioned in the demanding 38 occupation list but his spouse occupation is in demand list. Will it affects the process or it all based on applicant only. please reply.

If you applied before Feb 27, then the list of 38 will not affect you at all. You are still under the old rules. If you still have a long time to wait on your application, say you applied 1 year ago from a country where the processing takes more than 2 years, you can withdraw and apply again with the spouse as the primary applicant.
