Will ontario issue PT nomination at this score ?

Yeah, you can theoretically get a nomination with a CRS of 400.

I've seen PT given to candidates with 401 even, and later they received ITA too.so wish you all the best.
BTW have you created your profile or just calculated score with crs calculator?

Yes. I have had 400 points. Received Ontario's PT in July.

Heeru_Maan was also at 400 and got the nomination and then ITA.
I guess everybody who had applied in June-July knows about user Heeru_Maan she is the one who took care of maintaining trackers and all for OOPNP sheeets.

Hi,

Need assistance

I have been invited under opnp and now need to write a letter expressing my eagerness to reside in ontario, i need some suggestions on the same, i dont have any close family there, but do some distance relatives and old school friend.

can some one outline the structure i.e topics which i need to cover in this letter and what are the recommended word limits.

If some one can share a format with me that would be great, i could share my email id for that ...

Include following:
1. Information about yourself, the NOC you are applying.
2. Your IELTS score and how language can help you settle there.
3. Describe that how ontario can help you professionally.
4. Discuss about opportunities in ontario. mention some of the companies based in ontario where you are searching for your job.
5. Mention you plans, where you see yourself in next 4-5 years in Ontario.
6. Clearly mention that you have no close ties in Ontario, if you have any friends then specify their names. and give preference to help ontario provides to new comers for settling there.
that should be more than enough :)

Now you are good to go... best of luck

On what basis does Ontario give PT invite? Is it NOC based or does anybody who is 400 and above have an equal chance ?

Already discussed this hell a lot of times in this forum.

No, it is not NOC based (Even I though so before Ontario released an update on November 24). You can find it here -

http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html

If you have 400 CRS, you are eligible to receive PT from Ontario. If you have not received it yet, consider re-creating your profile.

Please note that you must have at least a Bachelor's Degree to be eligible to apply (not to be eligible to get a PT). If you do not have a bachelor's degree (say you have only a diploma and not a degree), then you must not apply.
