Is PCC required for every country where the stay is more than 6 months?

Hi,

My name is Himank Kumar. I am working as a Postdoctoral fellow employee at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia from Oct 2016 and my contract will last uptill 30 Sep 2018.
I am a resident of New Delhi, India by birth.
I applied for Express entry under Canadian Experience Class from Halifax. I received an ITA for Permanent Residence under Candian experience class.
I have obtained a PCC from India.

(I have only traveled to Halifax from India in Oct 2016 and have not been in any other country anytime before)

Please suggest whether I need a Police Clearance certificate (PCC) from Halifax as I am in Halifax doing my Post doc from Oct 2016 (more than 6 months) as mentioned above?

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

All countries (not cities) EXCEPT Canada. So no, you not need to get one covering your time in Canada.

No, you don't need a Canadian police certificate. CIC will ask you for one if they need to. Good Luck!

Also I believe the 6 months can be made up of a number of separate periods in a country totalling 6 months.
