Is on-line status of application usually updated?

Just want to know if the on-line service of checking one's status of application usually updated.
Does the info provided show the true states of application?

Please provide guadiance or share your opinion.

N - O , NO! the online status thing is 90% unreliable. the online status is not updated regularly. 4mths after i had my medical test that was when it, indicated that my medicals had been gotten. i know pple who have gotten their ppr and their status does not reflect it.
