Hi

This is little disturbing to know that the people who are yet to submit their applications under NOC 1122 may not get through this this year. I learned that the the cap is already reached and the chances are very bleak. I am actually submitting my application in another 4 to 5 days. Do i have any chances:(?

If any one has accurate information please do share the same with me.

Appreciate your help.

If the quota of 1000 is full, CIO will not retain it for next year and will send back the complete application.

So, we will be expect the next year? if the CIO will consider again the NOC 1122?

i think lot of people are applying in this category as it is does not have a clear description..thats why its getting filled up fast than other NOCs..but dont worry ..just send ur application fast if its ready....u will get through..

i even know a couple of my friends who are not qualified but still are applying in this category and just giving a try.....

The limits for next year, if any, have not yet been divulged. They may stick with 1000 per NOC, they may increase or decrease that limit, or even remove it. Also there is no guarantee any of the current NOC codes will be in the in-demand list. In fact, there is not even a guarantee there will even BE an in demand list or FSW1 category next year.

Can't really second guess what they're going to announce for 1st July 2011 onwards, so best to try to get your application in now (even with most of the 1122 being filled up already it is worth a shot) and if you fail then get everything ready for 1st July 2011 and hope the category is still in. If you take an IELTS test and do not make the cap this year, then CIO accepts it for 1 year from the date you took it, so it would still be valid to use to apply 1st July 2011.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Excuse me, so you are telling that i should send my aplication even though the number of aplications will be over the limit of 1000?

I don't think you should apply under NOC:1122 as it seems next to impossible for your application to get there in time keeping in mind that they still have to review Sep and Oct applications. I certainly believe that the number of pending applications must be extremely high. You should try under another NOC or wait and see what happens next year.

I doubt that 1122 will be here next year, but thats my view !!!!

Dear all,

According to me there is no harm to send the application under 1122. If it would get full, your application will be send back and the fees will be refunded. I will send my application for 1122 in Dec!! and I want to take chance. Even if, they will exclude 1122 next there, there must be some provision to have another NOC.

Dont give up!!

Cheers

Well.....I guess you're right...theres no harm in applying !!! worst case senario, you get your file and fees back..!!

or check other NOC's....maybe theres some other NOC that you can apply under....

GOOD LUCK ALL !!!!!!!!
