Hello everyone here. I am accepted into LaSalle College in Montréal for a DEC in winter term 2019. I have already submitted my CAQ online application, but I have not yet mailed my documents by postmail, I chose my father as the person who is going to finance my studies in Quebec, however, my father has not any elegible proof for financial support, because he is self-employed and he saves his money at home into a security box, so even If he puts all his money on the bank, we have still to wait 3-4 months prior to apply in order to obtain the bank statements from the last 3-4 months. Nevertheless my great-uncle is willing to sponsor my application, he is the owner of a big company, so he doesn't have any problem for sponsor me financially.

Which ones are my odds for having my CAQ accepted if my great-uncle sponsor me fincancially for my study permit? And if I change the information I provided in my CAQ online application (they said that if I haven't sent yet my docs, I have to attach a signed letter explaining the mistake while filling my application along with my docs) , would it be suspiscious for the visa officer? I mean, he could think ¿Why did he put first his father and then change him for his great-uncle? Since the webpage states that the CAQ online application only will be reviewed once they receive my documents by postmail, should I better pay again the CAQ fee and submit a new one? If useful, I am Mexican. Thanks in advance!

I'd advice you to pay a new fee and choose a new sponsor innorder to avoid any suspicions on your application

First of all thank you so much for your response, secondly, I have been told that the further family member is, the lower are the chances to obtain a CAQ because the suspicious of fake sponsorship. What do you think?
