Is MCA degree done through Distance education valid for Express Entry?

Hello Friends,

My friend has completed MCA through Distance Education.Could he apply his Post graduation degree(MCA) for ECA? He has done his Bachelor degree in regular and has more than 7 years work experience. His highest degree is MCA. So will the degree be considered as 'Master's degree' in Express Entry neverthless to Regular or by distance education ?

MCA will be counted as Masters Degree as a Bachelors is required in India for a Masters Degree and Canadian Eval system understands the Indian Education system. So, Once you evaluate your degree, it will be equivalent to Masters Degree

I have also done MCA from India through regular and its duration was 2 years . Which would be assessed fast ,WES or IQAS. ?
