I have seen conversations where people are asking where to put the marriage lisence ?
I want to know is it compulsory to submit a copy of marriage license ??? Is the marraige certificate not enough ??
:'(

I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of wording and how the document is called where you're from. For example, our document is called "Marriage License and Certificate". In some places, you need to get a marriage license in order to get married and afterwards you get a marriage certificate. You know what I mean? What you need to provide is the document that proves that you're married :)

The following original documents are required for you (principal applicant, regardless of age) and for each of your dependent children, if applicable:
•Birth Certificate
•Marriage Certificate
•No record of marriage (CENOMAR) or Advisory on marriages

Where does it say that CENOMAR is required? I don't believe this applies to all applicants.

The Philippines.

Is this because of where the OP is based, or does it apply to all nationals from the Philippine regardless of location?

You just need the marriage certificate. I submitted the marriage license because I was confused I thought it was the same thing. Later I received an email from the embassy that has my case asking for the marriage certificate, a marriage license is not valid for immigration purposes.
