Is it signal of stage 2 process?

Hey guys, I just received my gcms notes. Can you please review it and let me know if it is in fact approved (but they haven't issued the ppr):

Both the first stage assessment and second stage assessment were completed on the same day for me.
Under the (outgoing: 2) for the correspondence section it states that the passport request has a due date of 08/23/2020 (mm/dd/yyyy) but the status says "Not started".

Under the assessment section the final was left blank for some reason and the counterfoil req has a yes next to it. What does that mean?

Final:
The Counterfoil Req: Yes

As for the notes left by the Visa officer at the end,

First note: A positive stage one preliminary eligibility assessment has been made on this application.

Second note: LOA provided. Funds ok. Satsified PA is a genunie student and will leave Canada at the end of authorized stay. Approved SP validity: yyyy/mm/dd. SP remarks: may accept employment.... (and so on)

(In the second note it says the SP is approved and they gave me an expiration date for it)

Yeah I got the AIP on August 14, but I submitted the application on May 20 (without biometrics).
I did the biometrics at the end of July.

Congratulations in advance! The notes seem to indicate a positive position on your application. Do not take it for granted though. The application is still in progress and they may alter their thinking at any time so I advise you to remain unexcited in case things don't turn out well.

Thanks. I remember going through that thread actually..... Did we ever confirm if the AIP letter he receievd was legit and not one of the lot that was sent to emails by mistake?

Are you saying that the ones received by email aren’t legit? ‍ I actually received mine via email, twice if I may add! Yet it never reflected on my GCKey profile!

When did you receive the AIP and where are you applying from? If they haven't rescinded them by now then one of them at least should be OK. Was there any address below your name on the letter?

I am applying from Egypt, got my AIP first time on 18 September and again on 21 September. No address no, just both; UCI and application number.

But do they usually upload it to the GCKey as well?

Yes that's my understanding. You should get an email notifying you of the letter and then you're supposed to log in and it should be there under "other". However I have heard that some of the letters receievd on email alone were also legit. I think there was an issue with a mass email around the 2nd or 3rd of Sep and that was the batch where many AIPs were sent by error and later on rescinded. Don't take my word it though, this is only through what I've observed in this forum.

We are all sharing thoughts and ideas based on observations only so there is always a chance that conclusions made are inaccurate. But let’s hope for the best

IRCC uses different menthols to send AIP like BELA

Worry not! I raised a web form about this and I was informed that there was no difference between receiving it on email or your online portal.

That’s great! Thank you for sharing your experience. I also raised a web form early in the process regarding a different matter and was connected with Anakara office and I received my AIP from the same email address they used to communicate with me earlier so it only made sense that it’s legit.
