Is it possible to request for urgent processing of Spousal Sponsorship?

Clam down i am not hoping to jump infront of the line as i applied in December i am just hoping to get mine in time . My 16 months r over in march 2017 my due date is in January2017 . I just hope my husband to be here in time . My pregnancy wasnt a plan one . I went to visit my husband though i was taking contraceptive still got pregnant. or else we would have planned it when he would be here or near that time .

i sponsored my husband inland spousal sponsorship our journey started december 15,2015 they started processing his case on January 15,2016 they requested pcc on June 23,2016 March 10,2017 I got approved as sponsor and on April 21,2017 my husband got aip and landing interview date on April 28 2017 my husband did his landing interview at cic etobicoke plus my husband from a visa exempt country of Portugal but it took us 16 to 17 months to be waiting there is some 2015 and 2016 left but in my case we are done

The only other way is to try applying for a TRV so that your spouse can come to Canada as a visitor while they wait for the PR application to be processed.

I applied it through mail in canada i think their office is in Ontario..

For my spouse its lahore in pakistan . They received my application in December 2016

I would just like to ask if anyone had the same experience as mine or if anyone may be knowledgable about requesting for urgent processing.
I just passed mine and my husband's papers to CPC in Ontario for spousal sponsorship. I received an email that the have just received it last 18th of May 2016. We've been together for 9 years and got married just last March 31st when I went home for a 30-day holiday. When I came back to Canada, I just learned that I am now pregnant with our first child. Is it possible to request for urgent processing to CIC? Because I was hoping that my husband can arrive here before I give birth, as I do really need his support since it is our first time to have a child. Or if possible, will he be allowed to apply for a tourist visa to come and help me when I give birth?(though I've heard that you are not allowed to apply for tourist visa if you have a pending processing of application to CIC so I doubt that this'll work).

Being married to a Canadian citizen/PR does not qualify a person for a work permit, nor does submitting an outland PR application.

I applied for my pr and his is included. Hes my dependent.. so whenever i get pr he would too . so I applied from innside canada

I think you know, that wasn't what you asked. You posted in a thread asking if a spousal app could be expedited, said you had the'exact same question', then said you wanted to get your PR app done in time. Those are your comments. If you now realise how rude that question was, and are looking to arrange visitor status, that's something very different - and far more appropriate.You will need to look into whether a visa is required for your partner to get visitor status, and if so, how they can get one. Note that countries requiring visitor visas normally need strong proof of intend to return in order to issue one, which might be quite hard with a partner and expecting child in Canada.

I don't see where the insulting questions was, the persons just ask something that is concerning her case, a pregnancy is not easy and lots of questions and concerns comes along the new adventure, now considering that she is afraid to be alone when giving birth, a little bit of compassion can be demonstrated here, no need to bash her.

Me too I am in the same boat. I am due in less than 3 months and we are only on the Sponsorship Approval stage awaiting AOR2. Please pray husband can be here in the baby's first moments. I feel for you all!

Carol is right. Jumping the line is exactly what you're trying to do - you asked if there was any way to expedite processing. You may not have thought about how that's really insulting to everyone else waiting, asking if there was a way you could go in front of them. I hope you realise now how wrong that was.
