Checking our IRCC application status (as I have been obsessively doing for the past four months LOL) this morning, I clicked on "view submitted application or upload documents" and noticed that Schedule 1 (which we did not submit since we answered no to all the background information questions) had a deadline of October 4:
Thing is, we never got any messages asking us to send it:
Review of additional documents also says they do not need additional documents:
Do we really need to submit the Schedule 1 declaration or is it safe to ignore? I guess we could do it just to be safe and it should be easy since it's just going to be travel history that we need to fill out, but I'm inclined to believe that it isn't really required since we never got any messages telling us to do it. If it turns out that it really was required though, wouldn't it be ridiculously unfair for a rejection to be caused by a document we didn't know was required because it was buried under several links on the IRCC website? What if I hadn't clicked that link?
