I didn't travel much, but I realized that there was once in 2015, I came back to Canada from US via a border entry at Buffalo, the border officer did put any stamp on my passport. But on my passport, I have a stamp from US border office at the date when I entered US.

Looks like the same thing happened to my husband as well. Is it normal?

One question please
can we order a CBSA record .....?..

they're putting more and more of those automated kiosks for processing at arrivals at Canadian airports.
More machines than CBSA officers.

More chaos and more lines and lines, just saw at T3 at Pearson, what a shit show

What about the record of crossing the border to US. ???any link
Thanks

As others have said, it's pretty common to not get a passport stamp entering Canada if you use a NEXUS trusted traveler kiosk or the automated passport control kiosks (for US & Canadian citizens). When entering the US, it's rare to get a passport stamp when using Global Entry trusted traveler kiosks (I don't know about the US automated kiosks for US/Canadian Citizens since I've only used the GE kiosks).

Even as PRs entering on their birth country's passports we were told by CBSA they do not put stamps in passports anymore.
Unless you end up in secondary inspection for some reason then they will put a stamp probably when they allow you in.

A trip outside Canada for less than a month will not be stamped. Only if one stays for more than 30 days, it is stamped.
