is it important to put SOP in file. as i am a fresh student without any gap. ihave just completed my class 12 . my agent is canam and they are saying that dont put sop in your file

It totally depends on you and your profile.
But sop is important to proove why have you choosen canada,particular course and college,strong home ties etc etc which your documents will not show.

Moreover,a good sop can satisfy Visa officer that you are genuine and bonafide student which will increase your chances of visa

Although Letter of Explanation (sometimes referred to as Statement of Purpose) is optional, it is advised that you add it to your application, especially where interviews may not be granted. It helps you make certain explanations and clarifications. It helps you present your application in a good light.

I would advise you consider adding it. Insist that the agent adds one. You can make one and give it to friend to help critique.

Moreover, fr a person like u,who just finished 12th grade ur CIC officer will be looking for a good reason for you to choose ur course. This information will add to ur credibility and will help avoid any minor setbacks u might have in ur file
