is it important to proof that I want to stay in Canada ?

I am a Canadian citizen, want to sponsor my husband,living now in Jordan, I heard that we should proof that I want to stay in Canada ,
I do not have a job, do not have a house in Canada ,
is it important to send with applicaion something like that ?
what about if I tried to got a rental agreement in Canada? or.... some friend told me befor :


a letter from your family saying that for the 1st few months you will be living with them till you find work and your own place to live.

if I ask our family in Canada to got a letter will be enough ???

You have to show some sort of proof that you are planning to re-settle back in Canada. As far as what kind of proof to use for doing that I am unsure.

You must prove intent:
Get a letter from a family member stating they will put a roof over your head until you get on your feet.
If you have retained any canadian id, like drivers license, provincial health ins, a job offer would be nice but not necessary
do you have any credit cards, or bank acct back home? the more proof the better..

it's preferable to be a family
