You never mentioned if you're interested in research-based Masters (M.Sc or M.A.Sc) or course-based Masters (M. Eng) program.

Anyway, for example, I picked University of Manitoba. Here are the links that you can check yourself.

Full-time Masters: http://umanitoba.ca/student/records/fees/1031.html
Part-time Masters: http://umanitoba.ca/student/records/fees/1032.html
Course-based Masters: http://umanitoba.ca/student/records/fees/1033.html
Other Expenses: http://umanitoba.ca/student/ics/finances/estimate.html
Scholarships: http://umanitoba.ca/faculties/graduate_studies/funding/international.html

Remember, if you get selected to do a regular Masters (research-based); you can earn from RA-ship (your professor will pay you), GA-ship (University will pay you) and scholarships (they are more available for this kind of Masters program). Moreover, this is more valued and harder to get into.

Thanks for the links.

I can see the cost for 1 year is $8,702.60 so I assume it should be 17405 for 2 years. Is that right? What I have learnt from my counselor and other sources that the tuition fee goes around 30000 for 2 years. Is that true?

Also, can you please provide the difference between MASc and MEng?

You're right. But this is just the tuition fees.

Doesn't seem right. Did they talk about particularly this school? You also have to consider other student fees, health insurance, books etc. + living expense.

Also, can you please provide the difference between MASc and MEng?
I've said it so many times in this forum; yet I would brief for you.

MASc/MSc is research/thesis based Masters program where your main focus is research under direct supervision of a professor. You also have to do some courses (5~6) in order to fulfill university requirements. You daily task involves doing research, project work, writing papers/journals/proposals, conducting experiment, attending seminars/conferences according to your instructor/professor's instruction. Through your 2 year term, you also have to write a thesis on your main research project. You will present your progress each 6 month or so (called 1st Seminar, 2nd Seminar and finally Defense) in front of a committee of professors and some guest audience.

On the other hand, MEng is course-based Masters program where you go to school to attend classes, do labs and projects. You don't do any research work under any prof. You may consider it as an extension of undergrad only with high level courses. Normally, 9~10 courses need to be completed.

For University of Manitoba, here are the links for both MSc and MEng:
M.Sc: http://umanitoba.ca/faculties/engineering/departments/ece/curr_students/graduate/masters-program.html
M. Eng: http://umanitoba.ca/faculties/engineering/departments/ece/curr_students/graduate/meng-program.html

PS: You are a Civil Engineer and also have worked in IT field, yet it's little hard to believe that you are reluctant to find things on Google.
