Is IELTS Re-evaluation worth it ?

Hi guys
Did anyone here got his/her score increased after ielts re-evaluation ?
Asking this for a friend he has the below scores and need 0.5 increase in his writing section
He is writing this for the second time as old scores have expired last time he had a 7 in writing as well

Is it worth it to invest in ielts reevaluation - it’s kinda expensive and almost equal to new exam fee
Did anyone got their scores changed after opting for it ? Please advise

Listening-9
Speaking-7.5
Writing-6.5

Hi neo69. I am a person who paid for reevaluation. They gave me 1 full point more after reevaluating. From my perspective the reevaluation will give you an additional point if you need one and you feel like they graded you low, but it is expensive enough to redo the entire test if you feel like you can do better after familiarizing yourself with their point system.
If you need a point more for speaking or writing then you might get it, but if you hope for more I'd redo the test. On the other hand the test is a hassle, so you will know best. Hope this helps.

Yes he needs only .5 points so I will suggest him to go for re evaluation
