Is IELTS need for work permit

I m gona apply work permit soon

My question do I need IELTS

I have academic ielts ( L 5 W 5 R 4.5 S 7 ) = 5.5

Do u think I should submit ielts

Pls advice it's very urgent

I check with my friend and he said that there is one
Clause in LMO if it is mentioned there than
U need IELTS if not than it is not
Required ,

Mostly You dont need ielts TRV applications. They need it for PR application . Hope this helps!

When I applied for my W/P It was not in the chk list.but when they call me for medi I was asked to do the IELTS (General training) WHICH IS STILL PENDING.I am gonna do it next week though.They might ask you.be prepared!.

Hi Hamid, the IELTS that you need to have is General.
its better you take one & attach with your application.it will solve the english proficence part of yours.
