is ECAS updated only on tuesdays?

hai all....

i was just wondering whether ECAS is updated only on tuesdays? Our sponsorship approval decision was put on ECAS on a thursday mid-night and that was the first time i was able to login.my file is tranferred to new delhi and i have seen all new delhi applicants get their ECAS updates only on tuesdays. i think ND is updating only once a week but CPC isnt like that. what do you guys feel?

Even my ECAS got updated on 1st July that was thursday...

it is generally updated on Tuesdays. Many have got the passport with visa stamping on other days, but the ecas is updated only on Tuesdays.

I checked me ECAS on a Saturday night, hoping to see an update to tell my husbands mom while he was on the phone with her.
I checked the next morning, a Sunday and it had been updated overnight.

I don't think there is a true date.

your right cause mine was updated on a thrusday and a tuesday. So its really hard to pinpoint when you can expect things. I really wished there was a more definite way but thats not how CIC works.

I agree, it would probably save them a lot of extra leg work if there were more black and white processes instead of all over the place - in emails, phone calls and time.
I'm hoping to see mine update tonight, haha!

My ecas update was on a saturday night/sunday morning 'coz when I checked sunday evening, I saw that I had decision made on my sponsorship approval. Since then, I check ecas everyday knowing that it's not just the tuesday that CIC website indicated.

Haha! I am too, I check several times a day and leave my email open now.
We setup a separate gmail account for immigration so I have to have two windows for gmail open in different browsers to watch it.

Not only on Tuesday .. ours got updates ones from Friday to Saturday cause I checked Friday late at night and Saturday morning we had an update.

How many people find that there status never changes on ECAS. I have read people have landed and there ECAS still says application in progress. both my Wife and I check it each day and never seeing it change is hard. We included everything with our applcation so we will get little communication. (medicals, police clearances, ROPR Fees, etc)

Every time I check ECAS I feel like I am playing a lotto ticket.. lol

This whole process would be so much less stressful if there was better communication.

I was quiet the Ecas Junkie too.

Ashamedly I Still am, Even after signing up to the ecas tracker.
but I'm not checking as often as I used to since I know I would more than likely get an email update if anything changes.

P.s I have read on other threads that ecas does get updated on other days as well as tuesdays.
