UNTIL NOW (11th draw) ONLY 12,928 ITAS ARE ISSUED, WHICH ARE REALLY LOW COMPARED TO THE TARGETS SET BY CIC AND WE ARE HALFWAY THROUGH 2015 INTO JULY. I REALLY WONDER HOW ARE THEY THINKING? WILL THEY MEET THE TARGETS SET FOR THEMSELVES???
IF THEY DON'T PLAN TO MEET THEM THEN THE WHOLE SYSTEM DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.
 
CIC doesn't owe anything to each of us. They can do whatever they want

I actually can't believe that this was said, and I truly hope you were joking. If not, I don't think you deserve to be in Canada at all. That is a disgusting comment that holds absolutely no truth whatsoever.

At this point we shouldn't be asking if they are serious or not, but why they are not stating any reason for not being able to do so (meet the targets).
 
I think Chris Alexander wants to show canadian people how this new express entry system is only taking in people who have LMIA and how it is only filling jobs where there is shortage of labor . Problem is its not working and its getting difficult to keep CRS above 700 hence all the delay in draws etc. This express entry is not a tool to improve immigration but a 2016 election agenda.

2015 targets are already finished. Nearly all ITA's after July 1st will count towards 2016 targets. Which suggests there may have been a large backlog of applications from 2014. Maybe 2016 will be different, we could start seeing more frequent draws in the coming months.

Hello,

I have work experience while attending college in India. Do I qualify for EE? I do not see any clear instruction on CIC website. I started 3 years course but due to failure on few courses It extended for 2 more years and I was working full time on those two years on NOC 6212. My education is also not related to the work. Please let me know if my work experience counts for EE?
 
The reason is cause there's still applications being processed from 2014, a lot of them. All those applications count towards the 2015 target, so that's why they've been conservative with the number of ITAs being issued and the number of rounds of invitations. Express Entry is gonna be fully implemented until 2017 due to the backlog, till then we are in a roller coaster transition period. ITAs sent starting July will most likely count towards 2016 targets.
 
they've probably met the targets. The backlogs from pre-EE all counted towards the 2015 target. Any that get invited now will be for the 2016 target as the minimum 6 months processing, will take us into next year.

Ha! 2 years in Canada and my LMIA was rejected because I was over qualified! I'm White English and have yet to get an ITA!

You seem to be under the impression that more immigration is "improved" immigration. They are two very different concepts.
 
Another European here on a 2y LMO who got rejected PR because my job offer wasn't considered non-seasonal.

And I'm going into the 3rd Summer doing the same thing 40-44h/week, 3 weeks vacation time. 1100 points. I had one sentence missing from my Offer of Employment and I got a boot.

Yes, I'm so privileged to be from Europe and on a LMO.
