Is acceptance/approval guaranteed after BVL?

Hello there,

I got my AIP on 22nd August, BVL on 26th October. I am from India. I have not got my passport request yet. Does getting BVL mean my approval is guaranteed?

Thank you.

Having AIP means they can only refuse if you have changed ur course or college(they may recheck eligibility) or any issue in biometrics..
Apart from these, it's approval only.

Absolutely incorrect.
AIP only means you have all the docs necessary to be considered. Except med and bio

what about only AIP without any correspondence (med, biometrics) and a lot of ghost updates and technical issues ?
Any idea mate ?
There is no going back after an AIP, eligibility will be marked as passed and passport request will by set to outgoing the moment AIP is sent. Your visa will only be refused if you fail the medical or biometrics in stage 2 ( which is impossible to happen and is very uncommon). Expired medicals will not be considered as failed, they will send you a new medical request or proceed with the expired medical.

You are right. If you change the course, your file will be re assessed. No problem with deferrals.

Dude, I've started to find comfort in your words since yesterday.
Like I mentioned. I passed the med test and it was on my account until yesterday. But now it has vanished. The whole profile came back to its initial state and thats what irritates me.
But I have the smallest hope that I might get a correspondence or BVL as my latest update shows : Biometrics Completed.
Any thoughts ?

Because it's pandemic style processing, many couldn't submit them during the pandemic and hence it was relaxed. Updates in GCkey are not accurate, only way to know accurately about your file is to order GCMS notes. You are in middle of a process that will end someday eventually with a PPR. It's impossible to be stuck without any response, IRCC don't work that way.

Oh I see. I thought AIP was just to see if the correct docs have been uploaded and just educational qualifications verification. Also, ordered GCMS on Oct15 and waiting which I think is permissible.
So would you suggest me to just wait and not worry over the GCKey nonsense ?

Obviously, nothing can be evaluated until you get the GCMS notes.
