Hey guys,

did anyone from Feb 2019 received test invite recently?

I don’t know what to do, really frustrated.
file has been test ready for more that 8 months now.
Webforms, calls and Atip notes ! Nothing helped.
even my MPs office is not helping at all, said its bureaucracy and we are a political members office we can’t help.

applied in March 2019, all background checks were done since Feb 2020 and just in line for the test (according to the call center agent)...nothing until now

guess we are in those 5,000 cases :/

Vaccine done this morning :) No side effects beside sore arm so far :).

I swear I will sleep well tonight... well maybe.

@adey786 @Lex2019 Do you guys know if the Zoom application on laptop works? Or does it have to be in the browser?

Just seeing this message now..I came to Congratulate a new Canadian :)

Just finished! The entire process took 1 hour. 27 families and 47 people in total! Now a proudly Canadian!

Thanks guys! Journey not quite done yet :)

Yes !!!! You did it.

When I did, the most emotional part and that had some tangible feeler was when I cut PR cards infront of officer. :) No more PR renewals...no more PR cards....No more calls to IRCC, no more web forms.

Enjoy the new life as Canadian citizen

My file is in Scarborough office. Family application (Me+Spouse). I sent them a webform for an update . I don't know what to make of this update. Some of you folks may have already read a similar response. Appears that I am still in Queue.

Timeline - March 2020 Applicant, AOR SEP 09, 2020. In progress Nov 24, 2020

Good day John Doe,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We are happy to provide you with information that will help you understand the current status of your Application for Canadian Citizenship.

  • Your application is currently at the IRCC office in Scarborough. This office is verifying if you meet the eligibility requirements to be granted Canadian citizenship. Rest assured that you will be contacted if additional information is needed.
  • The next step will be to invite you to attend the citizenship test. The local office will schedule an appointment for you in due course, if necessary.
  • We recommend that you verify the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) online tool regularly to see when a new notice is sent to you.
In the meantime, we invite you to visit our website for the estimated processing time and for the steps following the submission of a Citizenship application.

Although the estimated time may vary, rest assured that we are making the necessary efforts to process your application within established processing times.

Should you need to travel during this time, please ensure to hold a valid permanent resident card.

Also, we have verified the file of Jane Doe and were unable to find information stating that you are their representative.

The Privacy Act ensures that a person's identity and personal information are protected. For this reason, we cannot respond to your enquiry since this file contains personal information about another person.

In order to respond to your enquiry, Jane Doe must provide written consent to IRCC by completing the Use of a Representative form and submitting it via the IRCC Web form. You may also contact the appropriate governing body to verify that you are a member in good standing.

If you already provided a Use of a Representative form by mail, the office may not have processed it yet. In order to assist you, please resend the form. Upon reception of this information, it will be our pleasure to update the file. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

A few useful tips

  • When filling out the form, ensure that each question has been answered, the application type is identified and the appropriate sections of the form have been signed and dated by all relevant parties.
  • If your request if for an outside Canada application, please use the visa office specific IRCC Web form (make sure to answer Yes to the question Is your application being processed by an office OUTSIDE Canada?) to send the form to the responsible Canadian visa office.
  • A separate form is required for each individual you wish to represent, even if they are part of the same application.
  • If needed, more information on immigration and citizenship representatives is available for you on our website.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

just received my Oath invite for May 17th.

Guys, I am so confused!!

Today I had an interview and then 3 hours later I decided to check my status. Looks like the system has been changed and you have to register to see your status. The immigration officer assured that everything looks fine in my file and the interview went well.

I registered and my status says INTERVIEW MAY 20 but I JUST HAD AN INTERVIEW:(

I emailed him but haven't heard back yet. has it happened to anyone else?

This system was introduced today, it might be lagging on updates. Just keep an eye on it, I wouldn't worry about it.
