That's true. But it's hard to be patient when your file has officially been with them for more than 2 yearsHope you get it soon.

Totally understand your frustration my friend...I'm working in the US and my wife has been waiting for her oath in Canada so she can get a Canadian passport and reunite with me, we are counting seconds for the arrival of the oath invite, she probably checks her email every 3min

This morning at 9:38 AM I received my oath invitation. Ceremony will take place on April 19.
IRCC is crawlingly working. Yesterday an October 2019 applicant received oath invitation for April 20th. Apparently it’s happening everyday.

IRCC updated again this week on their progress for citizenship applications. They are still processing applications from March 31 to April 6, 2019.
This is the 4th week that they said their progress is within this time frame. If this is accurate (which I believe it appears so based on the tracker), just think of the severity of the backlog at the moment.

Applied Mar 2019 from downtown Toronto, AOR May 2019, in process Jun 2019, file transferred to Scarborough office July 2019. Called IRCC in Feb 2020 and was told everything is done and just in line for the test. Mar 2020 lockdown. Called IRCC again in winter 2020 - was told the same thing, everything looks good and done, just wait for the test. Requested GCMS notes twice (one in May 2020, and one Mar 2021). The notes are identical. The last update that ran on my file was Jan 2020. Not sure what is going on and what's the holdback...
