Hey guys,

I just had a weird ghost update. My oath has been scheduled for over a week. Instruction letter arrived yesterday, and then a GU dated today.

Searched the forum (yes, I do actually practice what I preach). Found that it’s happened to others on rare occasions, but couldn’t find why. Anyone got a clue why I would get a ghost update now?

Oath is next week.

It could be a system update or someone may have opened your file accidentally or on purpose to put notes.

Hey guys, I've been following this thread since I found out that the processing office for mine and my husband's application is Scarborough.

We both did the oath July 5th, his tracker was updated today to oath completed, mine haven't update yet.

How do we know if the certificate was sent by mail?

If you haven't gotten one 6 days or less ahead of the day (July 15 onwards), contact IRCC.

Mostly when you tracker shows everything completed is when the certificate is mailed. Additionally you can call and confirm with IRCC.

Did anyone do a walk-in for a passport application in Toronto recently? If so, how long was the wait and the experience in general?
I checked passport locations online and they all seem to do walk-ins and urgent pick-up.

If there is a separate thread for in-person passports in Toronto, could you please share a link?

If you search with your postal code it will list offices and under the location details you will find "Check office details and walk-in wait times".
