Just heard from a friend for some exciting news.... but can't share the details :/

But... for those who are waiting - especially after DM - give the callcentre a call, they might surprise you.

I'm in queue for their call back.

Lemme put it this way - I am confident to hear something next week. But I will give them another call in the morning.

Call them. It helps to i) learn if the results have been accepted and ii) move it further. From my personal experience every time I called them things miraculously started moving. I've witnessed 3 instances of that. I would have thought that it is a coincidence, but not after 3 times when I received a test invite (within 48 hours after the call), an interview invite (within 15 minutes after the call) and finally an Oath invite (within 24 hours after the call) shortly after the conversation with an agent.

I sent a webform earlier this week and called yesterday. The agent said I’m oath ready and that I have to wait. I asked how long and she said she can’t tell and there is no information as to when. I’m gonna call daily going forward. I also emailed my interview officer on Tuesday. No reply.

Im sorry for the confusion lol, everytime i plan to call
I get an email
I plan to call when i know its due (past the waiting time)
Like i marked my calendar 12th but i get the call 11th...
They give u 3-4 weeks wait, so i go the maximum wait in marking my calendar
Anyway all i can say is i have been so patient
And my patience paid off...
Haven't applied for passport lol
Been almost 3 weeks of being a Canadian.

Did you get the Citizenship Certificate after doing an Interview?

Yes, i had an interview and then waited the oath invite, did the oath and then a week after the oath got the certificate in the mail.

Since you sent email to your interviewing officer, you should be getting an update very soon !!! Just wait and watch.

I just called again this morning, this agent is much better. She said all the processes are done, and I am currently in the waitlist to be scheduled for oath (yes a waitlist - wouldn’t tell me around where, but did say I should hear something very soon). She did say that they wouldn’t be able to see the dates before I do… which I have reasonable doubts. @jcttt call them, they might surprise you.
