You have nothing to loose by emailing IQAS asking for the status of your application . I did that.

Why 7 days? How you sent? I sent twice and within 3 days it was delivered both times....through DHL....Posted all my documents in 1 package todayShould reach IQAS by October 10th
This is my timeline. Please when should we expect our ECA?
Payment made.................6th June
Application delivered.......15th June
AOR1 (me & wife).............17th July
Transcript delivered (wife).. 2nd & 4th July
Transcript delivered (me).....10th July
AOR2 (wife - B.Sc & PGDE)...30th July
AOR2 (me - B.Sc).....……........8th August
I called them up as I didn't have their email address and they informed me that it is 12 to 13 weeks once you get the AOR and asked me to wait atleast till Nov 8th! This is just not so fair

That's what they told me when I called too though I find this confusing as some timelines posted here show people receiving their ECA 2 months after AOR2 (which tends to be 3 months after final documents are delivered).
That is what I was told too, but I guess they had a change of mind and decided to send to me earlier. I think sending a mail is a better option send to either lbr.iqas@gov.ab.ca or lbr.immigration-info@gov.ab.ca
Hope you get your ECA soon.
They are actually quite good with replying mails.They get back to you within 1 - 3 days.
This is not too good for IQAS.For your wife should be this month end and for your next month first week
From the trend on this forum it takes 2months after AOR2 and 12weeks after receipt of the last academic document ( as even confirmed on their site).
I even read from a fellow Nigerian yesterday that his/her AOR is 9th August while my wife's 30th July and mine 8th August. Why is ours different?
Please, have they changed their processing times or what is the criteria they use?
This is so painful as we need the ECA to create our profile to avoid tie breaking rule.
