I have feedback, Tell the publishers to post it for FREE,. I am not being cheap but There is nothing in the app to sell it for $2 in app Store.forevercanada said:And no, the app is not approved, affiliated, or endorsed by CIC. Much like your computer browser you use to access ECAS on the website. The app is just a convenient browser that remembers the information and allows you to get your status with one click.
If anyone has constructive feedback about the app, please share it and i will communicate it to the publishers.
Build it for me! I'm super lazy! lol. But provide source code so I can check with whom I share my information I punch into the app.bickyii said:I have feedback, Tell the publishers to post it for FREE,. I am not being cheap but There is nothing in the app to sell it for $2 in app dollars.
I can build same app in a Day or Two for you and can put it on App store for Free, if someone really want to use it..
But I will strongly recommend people to not use things like this.. 8)
lol.. according to App store policies I wont be able to publish that, because this guy has already published an app to serve this purpose.,iam_toby said:Build it for me! I'm super lazy! lol. But provide source code so I can check with whom I share my information I punch into the app.
But yes, you're right, there shouldn't be a price for a service offered for FREE by CIC.

If you are lazy, I can write you some script which will check your ECAS for you automatically lol.. Just an idea!!!! :
I actually agree with you. I will relay this feedback to the publishers. I am sure they would be open to release a free version of the app with ads. In fact, I am not sure why they haven't done that to begin with. That model seems to be much more attractive to both the publisher and the user.bickyii said:I have feedback, Tell the publishers to post it for FREE,. That would probably be better business model. Add a frame at top & bottom and set it free. If it's paid it will give you 2$ once but if a curious user is opening it 50 times to check ecas everyday than it will give Hits n money evrytime he ll check..forevercanada said:I actually agree with you. As I already mentioned it's not about being cheap for $2,, in actual it's not worth it... 8)forevercanada said:I don't understand how $2 can be so significant. We all like free apps, but most free apps come with ads. This app is ad free.
The time this app saves you on a daily (or weekly, or however frequently you check your ECAS) is worth more than $2.
