Hi,
Can somebody help me with the OWP to be applied to spouse travelling as dependent from India. I am travelling with ICT through an IT company and my hubby will be travelling as dependent to Canada.Following are the queries I have ,
1)Can he get a OWP before he lands in Canada??To get that do he need to have a Job offer from canada as well?
2) Should I check this with any travelling agencies?
Any help regarding this is very much appreciated. please help me .

Yes you can apply for OWP before coming to Canada. But I would advise to go for Visitor record first and then apply for OWP from Canada that would increase chances of coming to Canada. If you are in no rush to get OWP, then this is safe way to come over.

How long does an intra company transfer work permit take to be processed? My husband could opt for one, though my kids and I are pr of Canada. Was the application made in India or elsewhere? I presume an lmo is not required in such cases. Cd u confirm? Thanks.
