Intinerary and "person/institutions I will visit in Canada"

Hello all...

The online application is asking for a flight/hotel itinerary, yet I've heard its a bad idea to book flights and accommodation before your visa is approved. I've found sites that offer temporary booking for this very situation, but as visa processing can take weeks or even more, there is a risk that the booking will expire while the visa is being processed. If this happens, how big of an impact will this have on the application?

Also, I have read accounts of people on this forum who applied without an itinerary at all. How advisable is this?

Additionally, there is a required field in the application form: "Name, address and relationship of any person or institution I will visit"

How do I fill this when I am not visiting any person or institution? I'm just coming to explore as a tourist. Should I write the name of the hotel in the temporary itinerary?

On the subject of the form, my apartment name is too long to fill in the "Apt/Unit" field, and the same is true for the "Street no." I've just written my complete address in the "Street name" field, including flat number and apartment complex name. Is this okay?

"Name, address and relationship of any person or institution I will visit" , yes, the hotel name and address. and your relationship: "customer";
yep, flight itinerary is complicated, but i would advise you to book the hotel for sure. easy cancelation without charge your card.

No visa application is perfect!

Submit your application!

Otherwise your visa application seems like a 5-year plan that's headed nowhere.... or like a research thesis on preparing a TRV application

How does your apartment name and street name appear on your passport?

You can shorten 'Apartment' to 'Apt'..... or 'Street' to 'St."

actually, i bought a pre-paid card with minimal funds, then i booked a flight using it. the company sent me a email with itinerary, couple hours later another email came denying confirmation cause no funds available I used the itinerary (flight and hotel) just to show in the application my intention as required in the list. but then i uploaded in the client information section a note explaining what i did since i would only purchase it in case of approval. It worked. i would leave only, street number and name of the street. you dont need to put any other names. in case you get the approval, then you send a more complete address in the envelop.

I changed it slightly because I don't know if giving real, exact info is allowed here, but its very similar to that. The info is way too long to fill in the given fields.

This would probably fit:
Option 1:
Flat B20 Abhirami Apts, No.31 Krishnamachari Rd (Note: Apt, Rd, deletion of commas between the numbers for the apartment and road)

Option 2:
B20 Abhirami Apts, 31 Krishnamachari Rd (Note: Shortened even further but still makes sense)

You're overthinking. IRCC will check the address with your documents such as passport, bank statements, etc (if required)
