Dear all,
First, thanks to all of you for the support and help and for sharing your valuable experiences.
As some of you already know, my husband had his interview scheduled in Buffalo last may 11. Thanks to God the interview went well and he got the PR visa. We finally can be together now.
The interview was scheduled at 10:30 but it has started only at 11 am and lasted one hour. The agent basically asked him many question about me, my work, my education, where do I live,...etc. She also asked him about his education, what is he doing right now and what are his plans. As we are from different backgrounds, she also asked him how come we got married. She also asked about our wedding and where the ceremony took place and who attended. She asked about how we met and the time we spent together...etc. As one of the forum members said in a post here, the questions were all about what we submitted in our application.
Oh yes, she also asked him he married me only for getting the residency.
My husband had with him our photo album, phone records, emails, letters from family and friends but she even did not look at them. At the end she said that she has already taken her decision but she needs to check something before and she asked him to come back after 1pm to either get his visa or have his passport back which was frustrating. But finally, we got the passport with the visa around 1:30.
Thanks to all the people in this forum for making things easier for us. Good luck to all those who are waiting.
Please feel free to ask me any questions.
Ines
