I guess u are right..
It's better I travel via USA and then go for pick up and interview..May be they willl give or else appeal starts..then I do not move out of country..I did mistake once..but not again.

You will likely get reported at the border as well if you don't have a valid PR card. You will be able to enter. Clearly they have realised that you were not in the country if they asked for your passport information for 2016 and 2017. I don't understand why you suddenly tried to renew your PR card now. If you were renewing it and qualified for it to be renewed you would have had to send it in in 2015.

I send my application for renewal process card two month prior to expiry..2015 I thought I will get it in 180 days..but they took 3 yrs to renew..each time they asked about passport details...absentees..ect.

You must have ended up in secondary review and as soon as you applied you were out of status given that you left in 2012.

Yes..file was in for secondary review then it went to local office Hamilton..then now Etobicoke..
Let's hope after so much wait..I get my card for 5 yrs, from this year .

Unfortunately seems unlikely. Do you realize that after the first 5 years you must meet the 730 day residency obligation at any point? It is not a 730 days in the next 5 years

Now what should I do...? Skip the interview and stay in Canada for 2 years and reapply for pr card....anyway we missed the appointment..
I read in forum many people just go via USA and stay in csnada and after 2 yrs reapply.

If you have already been reported for not meeting your RO you can't just enter and stay 2 years. You can only do that if you haven't been reported.

But I have received email for interview and pick up...how can they stop me at border when I am scheduled for appointment.

You can go via US border with COPR or first landing paper and inform the border that you have a new PR card to be picked up. Someone I know had done it before.

Ok will go via USA..wish me luck

You will get in through the USA... and unfortunately during the interview to pick up your card , a formal revocation of status will begin... then the onus will be on you to prove that you should retain your status as PR...
