I have been called for pick up my PR card and interview on 6 June 2018..also given time of 180 days if I miss the appointment.
My question is how do I enter Canada .?
Prtd will not be issued to me as I was out of Canada last 5 yrs..
Landed canada.2010
Left Canada 2012
Days completed 760

What if I don't reach within 180 days.??
Will I lose my PR status?
I don't have USA visa also.

When you left Canada in 2012 how did u apply for PR Card?

To apply for PR Card one has to be in Canada.

How did you apply for the card if you are not in Canada for the past 6 years???

I send my paper of renewal to my cousin in Toronto. She did the courier part. .

To apply for PR Card/Renewal the applicant has to do it from Canada.

Did u mention that you are away from.Canada from 2012?

You have fulfilled the RO for the first 5 yrs. You should have applied for renewal in 2015.

As I don't know what you mentioned in your PR card application I can't say anything about your case.

Yes..I applied 3 months before my expiry of card..is.2015.
They asked me for my passport details in 2016..2017.. they knew I am in India.
They send me email that as I have completed my 730 I am eligible for the card.
I got that letter on 20 Feb 2018
On may 10 I got letter for pick and interview
Now my question is ..

They asked me for my passport details in 2016..2017.. they knew I am in India.
They send me email that as I have completed my 730 I am eligible for the card.
I got that letter on 20 Feb 2018

They will give the card if you go for the pick up. Normally They ask to pick the card to confirm whether the applicant is in Canada or not.

But you said they know that you are in Canada ..I don't understand why they asked you to pick . They would rather ask you to apply for PRTD and inform them once you get PRTD. So that they can schedule the pick up date and interview.

To enter you need to go through USA by road or you need to apply for PRTD..

As you said they knew you are in India and still they asked you to pick the card then you won't b having problem in getting PRTD.

But the rules for PRTD is that they count backward 5 yrs and check if we are eligible.
What if they reject..? Then once rejection comes in system I cannot enter from USA.. right??.

Without knowing the specifics of your application and it’s circumstances it difficult to say... but my advice is to tread carefully in this matter....

Not meaning to be judgemental or anything but you could easily find yourself on the path to misrepresentation.....
The idea that you mailed the application to someone in Canada who then sent it in for you could point to a misrepresentation of residence facts... just saying.... others can cheap in...

Call the call centre and ask them whether it's 1yr PR card or 5 yr PR Card they issued. If 1yr then it means your case is still under further consideration ...if 5 yrs then no problem your PR is renewed and it will be updated in System n I don't think.so you will having problem in getting PRTD

Now being asked to apply for a PRTD by them is so that they can begin to interrogate whether you can retain your PR status....

Operational procedures dictate that for a PR without a valid PR card they have to apply for a PRTD the premise being that applying for a PRTD will trigger a RO check leading to 1 of 2 outcomes....
1. PRTD will be approved
2. PRTD will be denied and a loss of status will begin...
