hi there, i have a question too, i took a semester off because of depression, i have a doctor note but the thing is my semester was from 6 january to 30 April and the date on the doctor note is 25 may. So i just want to know about that am i still eligible for PGWP or not? I did not work until i was a part time student. I have a valid reason (doctor note).

You can't work as a part time student. So hard to say if your PGWP will be approved or refused. Technically it should be refused for unauthorized work.

I did not work when i was a part time student, i mean i was not able to do any kind of work because of medical illness.

Hello everyone,

I am in Canada as an student and my husband is Open work permit, we applied for BC PNP nomination and got the invitation and already submitted the documents and hopefully got the nomination within 1 or 2 month.

now my question is, can I took 2 terms off to save some money? because we already applied for BC PNP EE and we dont need my PGWP, is it legal? or will we face any problem later on our PR application? or taking semester off will only affect PGWP?
