Did you get any information from anybody regarding this?

I am also studying at FDU Vancouver. Is it eligible for International Post Graduate Stream?

Yes: https://www.aved.gov.bc.ca/psips/public/report/recommendationsDecisions.faces

See under FDU, Master of Administrative Science. The institution is currently eligible and approved to grant degrees in this program, which satisfies the first requirement of BC PNP.

But you need to also match the program description and what is taught in it to the list provided here: http://stds.statcan.gc.ca/cip-cpe/2digit-2chiffres-eng.asp

Once you do that, see under which Chapter 1 code you fall under and make sure it is one accepted by BC PNP which is listed here: http://www.welcomebc.ca/Immigrate/About-the-BC-PNP/Skills-Immigration/International-Post-Graduates.aspx

Ok thanks for the information. But I need to know if I appy under this category do I need to get the job after BCPNP? As something needs to be done in order to get the PR either a job or study to show the strong ties with BC right?

Furthermore, is there any senior from FDU who got or applied the PNP through this procedure?

Someone... ... Anyone.. ..

Since this is a post-graduate masters program, you do not need a job to secure your bcpnp nomination. This of course depending on whether the program matches one of the areas listed on the bcpnp website. You need to figure that out as i told you in my previous post..

You can get a bridging permit should your post grad work permit expire after you get your nomination but before your pr processing is finalized.

Thanks a lot for the useful information. Does all the course contents needs to be matched up that are listed there?

My Masters program covers a part of the courses listed there not all of them. So I am not sure about that. Thats why looking for anyone who applied under the same program MAS in Computer Security and Forensic Administration.

From what I gather this program falls under 52.0401 which is not an eligible program in BC PNP post graduate stream. I hope someone who has been through can help you further! But you can also try emailing BC PNP offices and see if they will reply or consult with with an immigration consultant. Good luck!

Thanks for the research!

I read the program details at 11.1003. I have undergone couple of these courses that created confusion. I would definitely opt for a immigration consultant so far didnt find any FDU post graduate student who applied under this category.

No if you don't have a job offer ... MAS only will not help you to get PR ... I graduated from FDU in 2013 and applied for PR in 2014 with job offer and all ...

Thanks for your revert Ricky.. Yeah that would be better If I apply with the job offer. So you have moved to other province or got nomination from BC?
