My husband is a Canadian citizen and my paperwork for residency is in process since February of this year. Our children and I plan to join him in July. My children are Canadian citizens by their father and already have their citizenship documents (I applied for them last year). However, for myself, I will not have official residency paperwork. Is there a way for my to purchase health insurance, and will it cover routine visits, or do I have to wait until my residency paperwork is complete.

Thank you.

No one can suggest you more then a professional.. Now a days there are many companies which are providing all kinds of insurance.. so it is better for you to go with a Professional and take his advice... :)

Your children may also need visitor insurance for the 1st 3 months deoedning on the province u plan on living in.

We used the below company 2 times and the rates were reasonable. My bf had to go to the hospital and they paid the hospital directly and we didnt have to pay up front.
