Hi All,

I am planning to apply for NOC 1233 in July, I am married and have been working for a life insurance company since past 7 yrs

Have been reading forum which is really helpful for all the Canada FSW aspirants like me , at present have got a few questions and would really appreciate help from Senior forum Members .

1. Do you all opine the quota will get over for the 1233 category as soon as it opens ?

2. Where should we send the completed application in Nova Scotia or the NDVO ?? ( I know that's a naive question and answer to it should be the CIO Nova Scotia )

3. How do you think is the idea of getting the credit card charged for the fees than the normal DD which RBI has said would be valid for 3 months now and CIC wants a DD to be valid for 6 months.

and last but not the least if any one could share the letter of reference(s) , specially for NOC 1233 which they had submitted for FSW 1 this would help me getting the correct letter in first time .

NO, IT WOULD LAST AT LEAST 6 MONTHS..NO NEED TO WORRY FOR THIS NOC CODE. BUT AFTER JAN 2013 ,THE QUOTAS CAN BE FULL... THIS IS WHAT I SAW THIS YEAR. IT REACHED CAP THIS FEB 2012.

2. Where should we send the completed application in Nova Scotia or the NDVO ?? ( I know that's a naive question and answer to it should be the CIO Nova Scotia )
NOVA SCOTIA

3. How do you think is the idea of getting the credit card charged for the fees than the normal DD which RBI has said would be valid for 3 months now and CIC wants a DD to be valid for 6 months.
ALWAYS PREFER BANK DRAFT BECAUSE ITS GUARANTEED PAYOUT BUT CC DUE TO SOME TECHNICAL ERRORS SOMETIMES DON'T GET CHARGED AND AS A RESULT MANY APPLICANTS APPLICATIONS WAS RETURNED..NEVER TAKE A CHANCE WITH CC.

and last but not the least if any one could share the letter of reference(s) , specially for NOC 1233 which they had submitted for FSW 1 this would help me getting the correct letter in first time .
FOR THIS SEARCH GOOGLE PLEASE...

Thanks for reply sir appreciate your help, :)

Would you suggest any specifics which should not be missed out by me in the reference letter(s) , I am not looking to do a mail merge / copy paste for the letter , just want to ensure that I don't miss out which you / seniors in this forum think is critical

Dear All,
I am planning to apply in July 2012.
What are the chances of NOC1233, getting again into new occupations list.
Your answer would help me in preparing the documents in advance.

Best Wishes

(In my opinion its now 1312 and i think the quota will soon be cap cause lots of rejection and backlog reduction might result in huge number of applicant)

2. Where should we send the completed application in Nova Scotia or the NDVO ?? ( I know that's a naive question and answer to it should be the CIO Nova Scotia )
(CIO NS, Sydney)

3. How do you think is the idea of getting the credit card charged for the fees than the normal DD which RBI has said would be valid for 3 months now and CIC wants a DD to be valid for 6 months.
(Its your choice..whichever you opted)

(Search for the jobs in canada regarding your expertise than compare the duties with your duties and also compare it with NOC 1312 job duties)

Mate i will recommend you to first check with the job duties for Noc 1233...then as per those duties you will have clear knowledge about your duties performed and noc duties.....Are you insurance adjuster or insurance examiner....for insurance adjuster may be you have to get your credentials assessed.... the cap is full now so mate good luck for coming up year quota....

Hi dear immi_seeker,
there was a proposed news where they have said that licensed job/practitioners have to get their credentials assessed in pre advance...But that was only proposed and we will know in few weeks time about the new changes in noc,
Your NOC code has been change now to 1312 not 1233, for more info please visit...
