inquiry regarding my mom's length of stay

My mom arrived here in Canada as a visitor last june 30/2013. Her visa will expire in august 2017. I would like to know how long she can stay in Canada? Can she stay until her visa will expire or she has to exit Canada after a certain time and can come back? She is holding a multiple entry visa.

Assuming her passport wasn't stamped with an earlier date - she is allowed to visit for six months.

Multiple TRV till 2017 means within this time frame she can enter multiple times , but once she enters max allowed time is 6 months if nothing is mentioned.
