Finally Landing!!!. After 14 months and four days today i got the BESTEST news ever!. My IO called me with my landing date!. she just asked me to bring two photos, and 490.00 and i dont have to go with my hubby (sponsor)
My IO and i have been communicatring this way. my ecas hasnt changed still and i have not recieved no brown letetr!. but this is evenbetter!..
thanks all for the support and especially to LOVE YOPUNG, Janadian, Asta and ALL my friends here who have stuck with me!!.
best of luck to all and NO im not going anywhere!. I will stay here for moral support and encouragement!..

Just to give everyone an update..
I receieved my letter from Immigration in Charlottetown yesterday..giving me 2 days notice of my interview for Wednesday. I rescheduled it due to not being able to get it off from work so soon to April 13th. Very excited.

I called CIC and asked them what I should do. They gave me the fax number for my local office and said to fax them with my information and the reason as to why I could not attend (which was because of the 2 day notice). The agent also made a note on my file. The office then called me the next morning with the new date for my landing interview which will be april 13th.

Just some update on my quebec family class inland application


2 july 2010 I sent the application
6 july 2010 appl. received by vegreville
24 oct 2010 I sent additional info(not asked for)
9 march 2011 vegreville sends me a letter asking me to go on with the Quebec Government for immigration(this is the norm for quebec applicants but it is a good sign because it means that probably there are not many obstacles in my path hopefully)
23 march 2011 received this letter (yes it took 14 days for the letter to reach me in the east of quebec)
23 march 2011 i send the whole quebec application to the quebec government asking also for CSQ

I thought this update would be interesting for quebec applicants and for everybody to understand the timelines

A new update for me today when I got an e-cas tracker email:

“We sent you a letter on March 22, 2011 to XXX, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, XXX about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.”

Hi, my file got transferred to my local cic office in Montreal (I guess) after 10 months...
they sent me a letter on the 25th of march, when do you think i will be contacted again?
I cant really imagine waiting for another year without studying or working...
does someone have experience with this?
