I am just wondering, after you send in the receipt, what document is going to support the restoration? There should be a form right? For instance in the IMM5710 (Work permit form) there is a box for restoring status as worker, perhaps you should have selected that option along with applying for new work permit, then attach the receipt to restore status? Otherwise you might need to submit a form to restore your status I suppose. I am not really sure on this, but I do know that there have been others who submitted an application to restore status along with OWP and PR applications (In this case, the status is first restore before OWP application is processed, and It is normally after you get your AIP that you will be issued a work permit). And others opted to restore their status first, then send in the PR and OWP application. May be you can ask more experience members, or use the search option to search for restoration with OWP.Huh!?! just called CIC to withdraw my application for OWP but CSR told me that I don't have to withdraw it. I will just need to pay $200 restoration of Temporary Residence-Worker and send it to the web form and my OWP will be processed.I told him that I already paid $200 restoration of my Visitor's visa and he said it's different...Any thoughts?
