I had submitted my application for inland spouse sponsorship on 7th sept 2018, and yesterday March 20, 2019 , I have received email from cic that my file has been transferred to Etobicoke

Can anyone please advise or share some experience, I really need help in this concern , how long does it take from this point , i really do not have many options at this point , are there chances rejection at this point ?

I do not carry a valid status at the moment, i have limited options, one of them is , if i go back to my country while my file is under process, would that effect my inland application or would that be okay to come back after i visit Etobicoke meeting?

I have not applied for CAIPS/GCSM notes...it is going to take another 30-40 days.

Can anyone shed some light on this please

You need to remain in Canada. Inland applicants need to be in Canada and living with their partner/spouse to qualify to apply. So no - it is not OK if you return to your home country and wait there. If you return, expect your application to be canceled.

Files are transferred to the Etobicoke office when IRCC has concerned about your relationship. If your case it's quite possible the fact you are out of status in Canada may have caused this concern. Ordering your GCMS notes was the right thing to do and this will give you the detailed reasons behind why your file has been transferred.

When an inland application file get transferred it is either a landing interview or a relationship issues. Being out of status is not necessarily an issue. Your transfer depends on your personal circumstances and this always bring additional delays especially at etobicoke.
What you need to do is to order your notes to know the reasons for transfer .

Thanks

Also, want to add, My marriage is not working out as should be, its very stressful , we may go with divorce soon , Im not sure what to do!

if i get divorced , what option i will be having? or should i go india and wait for my process or can i do anything else also?
Do i need to be in canada to apply for CEC express entry class ? if i apply CEC from india, will they ask me to show funds later?

I have 1 year of Canadain experience, but with 3 different employers, will that be okay if i apply under federal skill class from India(if i go back) ?
Please help.....

I’ll only speak about the marriage.

If it isn’t working out and you know you will get divorced, withdraw the sponsorship. Not doing so will put you at risk of misrepresentation and a 5 year ban from Canada.

You now received SA and your file has been transferred for further assessment it depends on your circumstances and this always bring additional delays especially at etobicoke it could take between 6 to 18months before you can hear from them. Good luck

Any update?
I think you were out of status (july) and get married (sep) so they probably think about it. Just my opinion.
