Inland Spousal Sponsorship

I am in Canada on PR and got married to an international student who is on study visa. Both of us are in Canada. I want to sponsor her PR. I have the following questions:

1- What I'm trying to do is called "Inland spousal sponsorship", right ?

2- Will my wife need police certificate from the countries where she has lived for more than 6 months after turning 18 ?

3- Will my wife need to go through some medical tests ?

4- Which marriage documents are required for her application ?

5- How much time will the application processing take before she can start to work more hours ?

6- How much does this spousal sponsorship process cost ?

As long as she remains in valid status during the process, no, can't think of any nuances.
