If you received temporary AOR, using the temporary application number given to you, you can call IRCC to check the status of your application. If it has been returned, they will be able to confirm this detail and the date that the application was returned. If your application was found to be complete after the initial check, they will let you know and tell you that the status of the application is deemed complete.Hi guys, if your application gets returned will it say that on ECAS? Is there any other way to tell? I'm paranoid if I missed a signature or postal code
Thank you for answering!!!If you received temporary AOR, using the temporary application number given to you, you can call IRCC to check the status of your application. If they say that the initial check was not completed, well, you will just have to call back and keep checking your application.
Also, do you have a copy of the documents you sent to them? If so, you should know if you did not include the postal code.
Around 10 of us from the WhatsApp group have called and were told that our application is deemed complete. [Note: Applications are being checked for completeness around 2 months before AORs have been going out. For example, June is receiving OWPs/AORs around this time but those in August and September are currently having their applications reviewed for completeness. This explains, for example, why people in June were having their applications returned around the same time people in April/March were receiving AORs] Deemed complete means that someone looked over the application and confirmed that all the signatures were there, all the documents were provided, etc. We are, to the best of my knowledge, waiting on our files to be assigned to the person who will be dealing with our files and hopefully will receive AORs and OWPs in late February or sometime in March if everything goes well.Any good news folks..?
I hope this data analysis is accurate. Lets stay positive! AOR's coming our way.Feeling slightly paranoid around this time. Apparently, based on what another user was told IRCC is checking applications for completeness months in advance of issuing AORs.
For example, based on the spreadsheet the following people have had their applications returned:
Received April 22 - Returned November 30
Received April 26- Returned Dec 6
Received May 19 - Returned Dec 30 (This one may be the date they updated the spreadsheet, not the date it was returned)
Received May 25 - Returned Nov 16
Received June 6 - Returned December 8
Received July 28 - Returned December 24
Received July 30 - Returned December 27
AORs, with the exception of a few outliers, are currently being issued for mid-May.
This likely means that August applications are currently being checked for completeness. Hopefully if we make it through January without having our applications returned we are in the clear.
When calling IRCC do we get the status `deemed complete` as automated message when we enter the application number or should we talk to customer representative for that?If you received temporary AOR, using the temporary application number given to you, you can call IRCC to check the status of your application. You have to talk to an agent. The automated message only says the date the application was received. Navigate through the options until they let you press 0 for an agent. You may have to try a few times before it will let you in the queue. Some agents either don't know how to check or won't check. If you get one of these just hang up and call again. It seems like the majority of the agents are willing to check applications for notes since it only takes a minute or two. When calling IRCC do we get the status `deemed complete` as automated message when we enter the application number or should we talk to customer representative for that?
So spousal applications are kind of in limbo right now. Most august applicants have only received a temp number and are waiting on the actual AOR to go through in order for the application to start processing. The more research i have done seems to point towards applications being released in batches that is for full AOR. I would expect processing times to be a year and a half to 2 years. Mind you the actual processing deadline does not start until you receive full AOR.Hi,
My sister in Law sent her application in August 2020. Her ECAs says application received in Sep 2020.
She still has no temporary file number or no AOR. Her application was without work permit.
What could be the reason for no AOR. I thought Spousal applications are processed quickly at the moment.
Did GCMS notes show the date application was deemed complete?I ordered GCMS notes and recieved them FEB 9th has anyone else who ordered them noticed DCR deemed complete and it now stating work permit recieved with application? I have been trying to better understand what they mean by dcr deemed complete.
