Hello everyone! I am organizing my documents for in land Sponsorship Common law, my partner is sponsoring me. I have few questions,
1) He is a Canadian Citizen, he was born here but his passport expired last deecember and he has not renew it yet, can I still put a copy of it? Or does it need to be new?
I have his birth certificate also, but it has is old address (we live together in a different address).
Which one should I submit? Does it matter?
2) The Notice of Assesment, do I just include the first page where says the address?
3) In the applicant portion, where it says "Birth certificate of all your family members, wether or not they are accompanying you to Canada?", that means that I need to attached my parents birth certificate also?
4)For anyone who is doing or did the Open Work Application also, do I just include the form? That is?

If anyone knows I would appreciate the help!
Have a wonderful day!

Hi

1. Either is fine, doesn't matter.

2. The guide specifies the NOA, not "the first page of the NOA".

3. As stated in the guide, "family members" refers only to spouse, common-law partner and dependent children. Your parents aren't considered family members for the purposes of this application.

4. Yes, include the IMM5710 and the OWP fees.

1-If his passport expired is better that he gets a new one or just his birth certificate. Just get him to get a new one or on separate sheet explain why his birth certificate has a different address.

2-Include everything and do not leave anything out.

3-If you are planning on sponsoring your parents in the future then yes, if that is not he case then you don't need to.

4-the form, and extra sheets depending how you answer the questions.

Incorrect information.

1. There is no requirement for the Canadian passport to be valid; an expired passport is still proof of citizenship.

3. Parents ARE NOT included in the application, so their birth certificates are not required, regardless of whether OP plans to sponsor them in future or not.
