Speaking of work permit - I have been under implied status for the time since my application was sent in. With my new work permit, do I need to renew my SIN# etc...?

Nope but a lot of ppl got AIP last week amd a couple today in the WhatsApp group

good to see them moving but based on the time it took to get my AOR and OWP, i'm not holding my breath.

I got SA today, we submitted application for my wife June 4 .
how much time now it will take to get AIP? Also do they contact sponsor or applicant for any info, asking because my wife is not in Canada right now

I am july 2020 applicant . My medical is approved. Now immigration is requesting me my cv/ resume . Details of all my jobs. Is this part of background check? Did anyone else receive the same request ?

I personally have not but i did submit my CV along with my application and included details of my employment history after i had graduated from university

Hmmm I did not send my CV with my application as all my employment history was plucked into the Background form ( imm5569 if i remember correctly? ) . But time will tell if they ask me too. My medical is not yet passed.

Thanks so much!! I’m just wondering how much longer it will take to process my background check. It’s been about 2 months since they started processing.
