Hi everyone I am a June 10th inland applicant. I received AIP, SA, and pre arrival letter on April 20th. However it says they are still conducting my background check which I notice has been going for over 2 months at this point. Is this normal? Im from the USA. Thanks.

Got AIP last week. Only thing left is background check completion. Applied June 10th.

No that will not be a problem. You will become common law on June 1st 2020. You answered correctly considering you were not common law at the time of the application you made for a study permit.

What exactly did you include to them already as it is? And did you write an explanation letter saying this already?

The doctor used e medical portal. They submit it for you. It took about 14 business days for them to get my results. Once they sent me notification that it was sent to IRCC it was approved 1 business day later.

The next step would be to reactivate your sin or apply for one if you’ve never had one at service Canada it takes about 10 minutes.

Yeah I submitted biometrics late February and did medical last Thursday. Biometrics is showing up as completed but my medical has not

Im a June applicant but my biometrics is showing completed does that mean pass? I did my medical 3 days ago hopefully it will show up soon.

One more thing try linking the PR app with the application number starting with F that you should’ve received with your biometrics reminder should be F*********** leave out the x if you received temp AOR

make sure at the end where it asks how many family members are included you write the number 2 if no dependants. I actually made the mistake of entering just 1 because its just me being sponsored but the correct answer is 2 if its just you and your spouse.

Do you have a uci from previous applications or a gckey account? Or are you using ecas services?
