My application was received on June 15, 2020 and I was able to link OWP and PR applications just now as well!

Not sure if it is AOR but we received an e-mail that had my spouses UCI#, Application# and a brief message that said they received our application. After we received that we were able to link both PR and OWP applications. June 16, 2020 submission.

Here's hoping a work permit is around the corner!

All communication from IRCC is electronic? To the Sponsor's email address or the PA?

I think once you have provided an email address in your application they will communicate with you electronically but if no email they will send via the post.

Depending on the communication it will go to either person - AOR to Sponsor and BIL to PA for example

June 24, I was able to link my PR application but nothing about work permit.

Also I have few questions if anyone can advise. About returned app, this only happen after they move on to reviewing app step doesn’t it? And if they do return would it show on the tracking system? (just for my personal knowledge)

I need to update my address, I believe I have contacted them through web form way back somewhere October 2020 about address change and never heard back. As I was able to link my app (feb 6) I saw that they might have had the cic website upgraded somehow that now we can see our address and update it directly (without using the web form), my address is still the old one. So I updated it and it’s been 2 days but still old address showed, any one has changed the address before and how long did it take? Should I be worried.
