I guess I have the same question as everyone,
I want to know when will I recieve an answer for the sponsorship application so I'll finally be able to submit the undertaking application for Quebec.
I moved here for my husband who is Canadian with a student permit and we applied together in February and recieved an email on April 30 saying that they recieved the application on February 11th but it was not assigned a unique file number yet. We did not recieve anything since then.
I am a student in Montreal and international students are exempt from paying international fees if they are 'authorized to submit a request for permanent residency status from within Canada and have a certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ)'.
So it would be really helpful especially in these times if I could get to that stage before December of this year.
Is it realistic? I know the site says it takes 12 months but is there any chance it will be faster than that?
