Hello everyone, we’re on the bridge of applying for my husband’s inland sponsorship. Would there be a problem if it was only mentioned that I was a family friend of my boyfriend (at the time) when he applied for a TRV? We were just scared that he would get refused if he stated that we’re in a relationship. He have his TRV valid until 2022, he came here in 2018 for a visit and went back home and we got married nov 2019.

Nope and when I came here as an immigrant I didn’t know him yet. We only lived a month at a time whenever we visits each other but nothing more than that

As long as a common law relationship or marriage wasn't hidden during the visitor visa application, you are okay.
